Swimming which can be practiced from one of the most beautiful beaches of Lake Maggiore (supervised in summer), accompanied by sunbathing on the shores of the lake or by the pool of the Hotel Cannero.
Rowing which is practiced from an early age by the inhabitants of the villages on the lake in the local sports clubs but also by many foreign guests who stay at the Hotel Cannero and train with their boats on Lake Maggiore.
The sailboat in the various Rowing Clubs or with the assistance of shipyards for the rental or maintenance of your boat.
The motorboat which can be rented (also at the Hotel Cannero) and almost always driven even without a boat licence, having less than 40 horsepower.
Excursions with the line boats of the Lake Maggiore Navigation or with private boats such as the Giada di Cannero Collection boat (with skipper).

Walks on the lake allow you to relax by stopping on the terraces of the restaurants refreshed in the evening by the breezes that descend from Monte Carza and enjoy the rich variety of products of our Region: zero kilometer fruit and vegetables, lake fish and game, typical cheeses and local wines or almost.
Festivals and events, such as concerts or painting exhibitions, are organized throughout the season by the Pro Loco and by the numerous other associations in the town, while the Parish Church organizes, among other things, one of the most spectacular religious celebrations on the lake: the Madonna del Carmine with the procession through the streets of the town and the thousands of candles floating on the waters of the lake.
For shopping it is possible to visit the Luino market (every Wednesday) and the Cannobio market (every Sunday morning). They are among the largest and most famous markets in Europe and both Luino and Cannobio can be reached by the boats of the Navigazione Lago Maggiore line or with the private boat of the Cannero Collection. The Saturday market in Intra is also important and on request it is possible to organize the trip with the Giada boat. Everything can be found in these markets: fruit, vegetables, local cheeses, typical cured meats, clothes, shoes, leather goods, flowers, games for children, costume jewellery. The stalls are positioned on the beautiful lakeside promenades of the two villages and, in Luino, also inside the town. Villages also worthy of a visit for their monuments and churches, both decorated with ancient paintings and statues from the School of Bernardino Luini.
The short distance from Switzerland allows us to organize excursions across the border with our small boat for a visit to the botanical garden of the Brissago Islands, to visit the town of Ascona and its Jazz Festival or Locarno and the annual Film Festival.
